Eoin was appointed CEO at OPAL, a specialist technology and administration provider serving market-leading banks and insurers, in 2016. In a career in protection and general insurance of over 30 years he was initially trained as a computer programmer. His very first job was writing code used by claims and underwriting teams at Irish Life Assurance. For the last 16 years has been operating at board level in a number of senior leadership roles in the sector. He holds an MBA from UCD having originally read computer science at Trinity College Dublin and has also qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant. Originally from Dublin he is married with four young boys living in Hertfordshire. When not working or parenting he can be found playing softball in one of London's lovely parks with The London Raiders or playing live music with his band at open mic nights around St Albans
