Recognising an individual health insurance broker that has provided outstanding service in the name of better healthcare for their clients in the face of a crisis that has caused new challenges for all aspects of the industry.

Health Advice Hero

Submissions should focus on a single client case study that demonstrates how the broker went above and beyond to help the client get access to healthcare or get a claim paid.

Judges are looking for:

• Timeline of events showing exceptional health insurance advice and a strong client relationship.

• Passion, enthusiasm and the application of expert knowledge.

• Client testimonials and/or press coverage.

Submission: Entries should comprise a case study of no more than 500 words that clearly demonstrate how the nominee has provided exceptional healthcare service for an individual or group client. This should be supported by client testimonials, timelines of advice provision/development of client relationship, and a clearly defined outcome.

Only open for health insurance advisers/brokers nominations.

Hybrid Offering of the Year 2

This award recognises the most outstanding partnership between organisations in the healthcare sector over the past 12 months, whether in regard to new joint campaigns and initiatives, improved client experiences or potentially changing the way the sector works going forwards.

Hybrid Offering of the Year 2

Submissions should detail how two (or more) firms have joined forces to help grow the market, highlight best practice or improved service levels, and raised the standard of healthcare offerings.

Judges are looking for:

• A partnership, merger or acquisition formed in the past 12 months (March 2021 - March 2022) that is redefining the health insurance space.

• Work involving charities or organisational bodies to make the industry a better place.

• Collaborative campaign or industry initiative geared towards bringing about meaningful change.

Submission: Entries should comprise a case study of no more than 750 words that details the collaboration pathway, from early-stage strategising to successful launch. Entries should identify relevant parties involved and responsibilities, examples of collaborative work on campaigns or initiatives, and defined results that have successfully improved a specific part of health insurance market.


Outstanding Innovation of the Year – Health

Celebrating the provider, service or initiative that is revolutionising the health insurance space, this award is focused on the stand-out innovation of the past 12 months which ensures customer get more out of the healthcare provision that ever before.

Outstanding Innovation of the Year – Health

Submissions in this category should highlight new product or service launches, technological innovations or a specific customer experience enhancement that is bringing something new to the market.

Judges are looking for:

• A new product or service launched during the past 12 months (March 2021 - March 2022).

• An example of proposition enhancement where exceptional extra value has been added.

• Outstanding use of technology or innovative Covid-19 response.

Submission: A text entry of no more than 500 words that focuses on a new product or service launch (March 2021 - March 2022) that demonstrates how it is innovating the provision of healthcare insurance. Entries should include product details as well as one or more; demonstrate how this is bringing new ideas to market, examples of added value, new client wins, use of new technologies.

Celebrating the provider, service or initiative that is providing leading wellbeing support, this award is focused on the stand-out innovation of the past 12 months which goes above and beyond to provide excellence for wellbeing support across mental, physical and financial health.

Submission: A text entry of no more than 500 words that clearly illustrates the value of an offering that comprises the best of both healthcare and insurance, with specific proposition details included. Entries should be supported by quantifiable evidence such as performance results and client wins, and qualitative material such as adviser/client testimonial.

Recognising the health insurance brand that is head and shoulders above the rest. This award aims to reward the insurer or provider that has the best proposition, while achieving brand visibility and delivering on the values that build and maintain customer trust.

The judges are looking for:

• The strongest healthcare proposition from the last 12 months, including an ongoing response to the Covid-19 pandemic and its ramifications.

• Overall approach to brand marketing that gets results.

• Hard evidence of strong customer service.

Submission: A text entry of no more than 500 words that identifies the key strengths and stand-out qualities of a health insurance or provider proposition, supported by evidence of successful brand campaigns (i.e. marketing or sponsorship). Entries must consider the circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic over the past 12 months and be able to demonstrate the highest levels of customer service.

A new category for 2022, this award recognises the pivotal role that wellbeing support services play in the modern workplace, particularly in a post-Covid and flexible working environment, as offering cutting-edge wellbeing support for mental, physical, financial and social health has become a key differentiator for employers.
