Catherine is a Specialist Health & Protection Adviser with The Right Broker Ltd. Using the trading styles ‘The Right PMI & Healthcare’ and ‘Vertu Health & Protection’, she uses her extensive knowledge of the industry to help individuals, families and companies understand the various health and protection insurance options available to them. Catherine is passionate about providing clear, comprehensive, and compliant advice as well as building long-term relationships with her clients. In 2021 she was named ‘Health Advice Hero’ at the 2021 COVER Healthcare Innovation Awards. Catherine has been involved in a number of voluntary roles over years, including Sight for Surrey’s Children & Young Peoples Recreation programme and, more recently, volunteering at NHS COVID-19 vaccination sites.

Claire Ginnelly has been in the private medical insurance industry since 1991. She is the Vice Chair of AMII. Before joining Premier Choice Group in June 2013, all her experience was gained working for large insurance companies and always working on the intermediary distribution. She has held senior positions within Standard Life Healthcare, as Head of Intermediary Sales, and Groupama Healthcare, as Head of Distribution. Claire started her career in Healthcare with Norwich Union Healthcare (now Aviva) and then moved to WPA before joining Standard Life Healthcare.

In June 2013, Claire joined Premier Choice Group as Head of Healthcare and became Managing Director in June 2015. Premier Choice is an intermediary specialising in Healthcare and Risk products.

Isaac is the Founder of Lifepoint Healthcare and has been advises clients on the complexities of the healthcare market as well as a regular press contributor. Isaac is a published author having recently written a book called ‘An Essential Guide to Health Insurance for Companies’ - an information guide to assist businesses make informed choices on employee benefits. Isaac is also an Executive Committee Member of The Association of Medical Insurers & Intermediaries. Isaac’s firm has recently been named: Winner – Best Adviser for Individual Healthcare @ The Health Insurance Awards 2020. He is passionate about our industry and committed to helping protect companies and individuals with tailored insurance solutions from the physical and financial distress caused by serious illness, injury, accident and death. Isaac also serves as a volunteer with the Blind and Disabled. 

John Brazier is an experienced B2B journalist and editor. He took on the position of editor for COVER in February 2021.

John has spent over a decade working across various B2B editorial roles and markets, most recently in a freelance capacity reporting on gas and renewable energy, electric vehicles and power materials.

He was previously editor of The Trade, a buy-side publication for a readership of global asset managers, hedge funds and traders, a position he held for two years.

Prior to this, John spent three years with WatersTechnology, a fintech publication with a global audience, where he served as a European staff writer, before stepping up the role of deputy editor, working across the buy- and sell-side brands of the title.

He has also worked on a number of personal finance, retail IT and technology brands, and has personal interests in literature, technology and environmental issues.

Monica Garcia is a health and wellbeing consultant, working in the Life & Health Insurance industry. She offers expert advice on the introduction of evidence based health initiatives to improve customers’ wellness and satisfaction. Monica is passionate about outcome focused rehabilitation initiatives. She brings in a combination of clinical, vocational, and insurance experience to promote best practice. Monica also supports industry initiatives to encourage access to insurance.

At Swiss Re, Monica led pioneering award winning research, evaluating the role of psychosocial factors in return to work at claims and underwriting level. She’s been invited to share her expertise and research at international conferences in the UK and overseas. She also developed many claims management initiatives, including: training, portfolio management, and the design and implementation of large scale return to work rehabilitation programmes for the Income Protection market.

Zanele Sibanda is Head of Internal Markets at Towergate Health & Protection. Zanele is a respected industry leader with 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry, specialising in business protection and employee benefits. Recently crowned the Mentor of the Year at the Cover : Women in Protection and Health awards, Zanele’s role in Towergate sees her responsible for delivering commercial partnerships across the Group.
