Adrian joined MetLife in May 2011 as Chief Finance Officer for the UK, he was appointed Employee Benefits Director for the UK in June 2017, and from January 2023 expanded his role to cover an additional 10 European markets.
Adrian is responsible for driving substantial growth in the Employee Benefits line of the business. As well as his expanded European role, he is a member of the UK Executive Committee. In his prior role as Chief Finance Officer, he oversaw the financial management and performance of the business, where he drove efficiency and effectiveness throughout.
The UK EB business is now the largest Group Life business in EMEA insuring over 1.6 million customers and delivering revenues in excess of $250m. This has seen MetLife’s market share grow to over 10% in the UK, with plans to develop further in this key market.
Prior to MetLife, Adrian spent 7 years in financial services outsourcing with Unisys and Capita where he held the position of Finance Director for the south region for their Life & Pensions division and was responsible for multi-site and multi-account commercial contracts.
Adrian is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
