Nicola Huxley is a Protection Specialist and Director at Sphere Financial Services, where she leads a dedicated protection team focused on doing one thing exceptionally well: making sure families are properly protected when it matters most. Her passion for protection is deeply personal. When her self-employed father died at just 58 following a period of illness, her family experienced first-hand both the impact of doing some things right — and the consequences of getting other things wrong. That experience shaped her career and has driven her to help over a thousand families secure meaningful, balanced protection that reflects real life, real budgets, and real risks.

An Ambassador for the Income Protection Task Force (IPTF), Nicola places income protection at the heart of her advice and is a strong advocate for raising its profile both within the industry and among clients. In recent years, she has developed a particular focus on mental health and neurodiversity, championing a more informed, compassionate and practical approach to underwriting in these areas.
