Having started her career in Dublin, Claire has over 20 years' experience in various technical and leadership roles covering Europe, Africa and Australia. She joined Swiss Re in 2011 and is currently Head of Underwriting and Claims for the UK & Ireland. Claire believes strongly in the value of insurance and is proud to lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals all striving to make insurance more accessible to more people.

In addition to her risk management focus, Claire is an strong supporter of social entrepreneurship and manages the UK Shine program supporting social entrepreneurs to scale and amplify their impact.

She is also a director of Women in Protection network, and when not busy on industry topics enjoys travelling while squeezing in time for her ongoing studies in Archtitectural History.
