Wellbeing of Women is the charity saving and changing the lives of women, girls and babies through research, education and advocacy. Since 1964, they have invested more than £75 million into research to transform women’s health and wellbeing. Many of the tests, treatments and cures we take for granted today started with research funded by Wellbeing of Women, including the use of ultrasound scanning in pregnancy and discovering the link between HPV and cervical cancer, which lead to the first preventative school vaccination programme.
